Dawn Olson

I come from a long line of Denver-based hairdressers—my dad was a barber and my mom a stylist—so you could say I was born with a comb in my hand. I've been with Salon Résistance long enough to help guide it through two locations and two owners, and what's kept me passionate all these years is the incredible, diverse clientele and the amazing team of stylists we've built. They've truly become a second family to me.

Color continues to fascinate me—I never stop learning—and men's cutting has been a passion ever since my dad taught me how to do a proper flat top when I was 14. Most of all, I love listening to my guests and collaborating with them to create a look that feels just right.
